Classic Challenge (the organisers of Nightrider) are committed to safeguarding the privacy of our website visitors. We believe you have the right to privacy on the web. This Privacy Notice governs the manner in which Classic Challenge collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the website (“Site”). This Privacy Notice applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Classic Challenge.
What information do we collect?
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our Site, subscribe to the newsletter, register for an event, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, name, email address, home address, phone number, credit card information. We only collect personal identification information from Users if they voluntarily submit such information to us.
Some of the information we collect, such as disability status, may be considered ‘sensitive personal data’ under the Data Protection Act 1998 (this will be known as ‘special categories of personal data’ under General Data Protection Regulations). We will only collect this in order to cater to your needs or act in your interest, and we are only prepared to accept this category of data on the condition that we have your positive consent.
You can also choose not to provide us with some of the information we request, however as a result we may not be able to complete your booking with us.

How will we use your personal information?
If you register for an event on the website you will provide us with a certain amount of Personal Data which we will process for the purpose of administering the event. We will pass on your personal details to the charity you have chosen to support and other suppliers directly associated with the operation of your challenge. Examples of these suppliers include (but are not limited to) the consultant medical advisor, event manager and medical team working on the challenge. Examples of your personal details include (but are not limited to) your name, address, date of birth, next of kin, dietary requirements and medical history, including any pre-existing medical conditions. We will not sell, rent or share your personal details with any unrelated third parties.
Classic Challenge sends out email newsletters from time to time to inform subscribers about products and services supplied by Classic Challenge. You can choose whether or not to subscribe to the email newsletter via a form on the website. All personal details relating to email newsletter subscriptions are held securely and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. No personal details are passed onto third parties. Email newsletters may contain tracking facilities within the actual email. Subscriber activity is tracked and stored in a database for future analysis and evaluation. Such tracked activity may include the opening of emails, forwarding of emails, the clicking of links within the email content, times, dates and frequency of activity. This information is used to refine future email newsletter content and make it more relevant to subscribers. In compliance with UK Spam Laws and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 subscribers are given the opportunity to unsubscribe at any time through an automated system. This process is detailed at the footer of each email newsletter.

We will take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to prevent the loss, misuse or alteration of your personal information. You are responsible for keeping your user details confidential.
The transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure.
