Camden Lock

Camden LockNow most famous for its market, towpaths and music venues that draw over 150,000 visitors per week, the lock itself was originally constructed in 1820 to facilitate barges navigating the newly formed Regent’s Canal. At night Camden Town is one of London’s busiest urban centres for partygoers and is an ever-popular destination on London’s tourist trail. Our route from here follows the canal westwards to Regent’s Park.
